I LOVE THIS TENT!! This tent really does set up in a minute, which was handy since we didn't arrive at camp until dusk. It's very roomy (I call it my camping condo)and is made from pretty durable material. It stormed a couple nights I camped in it and no leaks. The room divider was a little difficult to zipper due to tension on the fabric. I was afraid it might tear but it didn't. My previous tent lasted 12 years, I'm expecting more out of this one. The one thing that I think needs improving is that the zipper on the screen room side needs more tension at the top. You will need 2 hands to zipper it because the roof tends to pull downdward while you are pulling the zipper down. Not good if the roof is wet. There is a fabric loop at the top of the zipper so I think I might try to thread a rope through it to provide more support to the zipper. Otherwise, I still love the tent. My 10 year old son does too. Did I mention that I LOVE this tent?

My wife and I really love the size and ease of putting up and taking down of this tent. We have used it twice now and had only one night of any rain (light) so after reading about the leaking problems, I am kind of leary.
The only problem we had was on the first time setting up. One of the extension arms was twisted so you could not set the arm correctly. One rod was upside down so the button could not engage and the joint was backwards. I later found out that this same problem happened to someone else. Finally got that fixed and the second time camping was real slick.
So because of the problem we had, I will have to drop the rating 1 star. Otherwise, GREAT TENT.

This tent is great. I love that it has two rooms because that way when the little ones go to sleep we can sit and play cards or games inside the tent if we want. (If the weather isn't that great) We have never got wet from the drizzle at night. I love that you can open it up to enjoy the fresh air. It's easy to set up. The guys are tall so it's high enough they don't have to duck their heads. It's roomy enough that everyone isn't on top of each other. Good buy.

Due to a factory assembly mishap this tent took more like an hour to set up instead of 2 minutes. One of the poles was assembled wrong thus preventing the pole to be extended. It took a while to diagnosis the problem and then tackle it. This was being done in the dark at the camp site. Yes, I took it right from the factory box up to the site, how dumb of me. Please open this tent and see that it all works before you leave. Once up it is a nice tent!

We have hassled with the pole tents for years. This was extremely easy to set up. Absoulutely wonderful and time saving. We were able to enjoy camping faster than ever before! Lots more headroom than the arched pole tents too!
It held up in medium amount of rain, no leaks for us. We will be getting another one to replace the kids tent. If I have to spray seam sealer on it in the future, it will still be WELL worth it! Love it! We always use the heavy duty 8-9" metal stakes that you purchase seperately, so we didn't test the small ones.
The zipper is a little harder to use with the rain flaps/tape, but I would rather have it not leak becasue that is why we wanted this Coleman.

Great tent! We took the tent to the Grand Canyon during Monsoon season, so we found out right away how waterproof it really is! We had a tarp under the tent and you could feel all the water underneath, but it never came through. The last night we had a huge storm and the rain was coming down so fast and hard and we could feel moisture hitting our faces. Luckily we had family next to us in an RV so we were able to get out. For 4 nights of camping in the rain this tent held up just great! I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! It's also very easy to set up! The stakes could be a bit heavier, but it stayed put with the heavy winds we encountered. Great tent, great buy!!

My oldest 2 kids (ages 14 and 16) just put this up in less than 3 minutes. Take down was a breeze! We are going to go camping this weekend and are excited to use this tent!

Hands down the easiest tent to put up and take down. However did not like that the windows had no ties and the flap over the double door makes zipper hard to use. But again the ease of set up and take down make up for its flaws.

Received tent for Fathers Day. Have used it twice and love it. My daughter bought one for her Husband . We will be using Labor Day weekend. Have not used it in the rain yet.
Well built and easy to set up. I have had great service from Colemans Customer Service Dept. in the FEW times I have had a problem. Almost all my camping gear is from Coleman.Everyone who has seen this tent wants one and I would recommend it.

We have used our new tent two times. First time loved sleeping in it and how large it is. We got a small amount of rain and no problems. This last weekend we used it and got quite a medium rain storm which was VERY VERY horrible experience. Six spots on the roof of our tent leaked on us where the "seam tape" had not been properly adhered to the ceiling and the seams on the front door and two of the windows leaked. Now we need to find more seam tape and possibly weather proofing for the window seams. Definitely the easiest tent we have ever setup, but not at all a fan of getting soaked by a tent I have owned less then three months.

The tent was much easier to setup and take down the second time. The design is lousy for rain. The water runs into the tent if you try to enter or exit the tent during rain, then you have water all over the floor. This is due to not having a fly. The canvas leaked the first time I used it in the rain, but it was a long, heavy rainfall. Coleman sent sealer and I am going to try that. This tent would be perfect if it had a fly to protect the doors form letting water in.

We loved this tent when we first set it up in the backyard. It really does go up and down in a minute!! When we took the tent camping for the first time we had a slight rain all night. We were very disappointed to find out that it leaks everywhere!! All of the seams, including the front zipper (where there is a double layer to protect the zipper). When we got home we called Coleman and they are sending us some seam spray. This will be the first Coleman tent we have ever had that leaked and the first time we have ever had to spray the seams...Although I love how easily the tent goes up and down, we were very disappointed in how easily it leaked. We had to buy a tarp in case it rained again. A fly could be made easily for this tent and we think it would be a good idea to have one!!

Loved this tent! Went up really easy, although slightly more challenging when taking down the first time. Tons on room inside and I loved all the windows!

Went up easy. Loved the space as wife has to have the huge Coleman blow up mattress. Trouble taking it down as one leg was messed up. Took it home and fixed leg, now it works good. Can't wait to try it again.

We thought we had found the perfect tent. The day we received it we set it up in the back yard, when we took it down we broke a plastic part near the top. I figured it would be no big deal to get a replacement peice and change it out. Unfortunatly, Coleman does'nt return email and they must only have one person working at there call center because i've made several calls and waited on hold with their automated system for an embarassingly long time. If someone at Coleman cares and would like to offer up some customer service my email was part of this reveiw and I can be easily contacted.

I was not very happy with this tent. It was big and easy to put up for sure but in a medium rain storm all of the window seams leak! I thought this tent was guaranteed waterproof?!?

At first when we got this tent I was extremely happy the set up is awesome the take down is more than a minute though and sometimes the poles don't want to seem to bend in right but it does go down in under 5 minutes. The bag is roomy but should have wheels on it as it is a little heavy to carry. My downsize on the tent is the first and second time we used it so far on the last day we had rain, not all down pours either and both times it leaked, along the seems and at the zippers of the double side door and also in the center of the roof, we actually have little puddles along the inside perimiter of the tent . I really hope when I call customer service tomorrow they help me with this issue. I do think they should deffinately have a rain cover, one could easily be made to snap on the outside poles for some extra protection. Overall I give the tent a plus but the leaking issue really needs to be fixed, even where the tent doesn't have leaks when inside it is wet to the touch I do not like that at all. For the price and coleman name I do not expect any water inside my tent :)

Coleman did their homework on this tent! Very nice, goes up FAST comes down FAST. I can set up by myself (with staking) in six to seven minutes. We only used it once so far and the weather was nice (no rain). After setting up I did find some needle holes in a few seams so I sealed them right away (as should be done with all new tents anyway). The tent is quite roomy, I'm tall and it's nice to be able to stand up straight and move about inside. I can say the only fault (and this is minor) is that there are no ties for the window flaps when you have them down. We kept the flaps up about three inches from the bottom to form a pocket and tucked the flaps in. I would certainly recommend this item to anyone looking for a new tent. Kudos to Coleman and happy camping!

I love this tent!!!.. I have to say it is one of the best i have ever owned from Coleman. It repels water well, Takes Minutes to put up..even bye yourself..Easy to take down..Storage bag a little flimsy but well worth the money for this tent.. I used it in 40mph winds..No Problem..I recommend this tent..Also the instant shelter is also a good asset...GO COLEMAN

Just came home from camping with the instant tent for the first time. I love this tent! Ok, I dont truely believe you can fit four queen mattresses in it, but there is a TON of room! On our last day, we hit a major rain storm. Now normally I coat my new tents with water proofer, but didnt this time. I wasnt dissapointed! Not a drop! When we came out of the tent during the storm, we were in 3 inches of water! Our tent remained bone dry! we even floated! The floor of the tent felt like walking on a water bed! For a family of four, you have plenty of room to sleep and walk around. Im tall and had plenty of room to get dressed. I love this tent! Coleman won me over for life!

First I want to say this tent is so cool. You truly can assemble it in a minute or less. My family bought 3 of these tents. My wife and I, my son and daughter-in-law, & my daughter and son-in-law all bought one of these tents. We had people in the campground come over to our campsite and ask where we got the tents after they saw us put them up. Our only issue was during the camping trip we had a 3 hour downpour of very hard rain. All 3 tents developed a leak in the middle of the tent where the room divider is sewn across the top. Since all 3 tents leaked in the same spot that kind of looks like there might be a problem there. I want to add that in addition to the hard rain there was also lightning and a lot of wind. Except for the leak the tent held up great.
